We went on a humpback whale watching trip and it was a great experience. Obviously the company cannot guarantee that you will see the whales but in our case we were lucky and managed to see a mother with her baby and also another adult male whale. You should know that it is important to be in relatively good shape and be an experienced swimmer as sometimes you need to swim a few hundred meters in order to reach the whales. Corallina was totally worth it!

Thank you Tami and Francesca for a wonderful morning! Communication was clear from the start! We were picked up at the boat dock in Moorea after taking the 6:30 am Aremeti Express ferry from Tahiti. All of this was shared in prior correspondence making things go smoothly.
The welcome, boat ride and whale briefing were fabulous. There were numerous couples from all over the world and Francesca navigated the language differences beautifully.
We were lucky to see and swim with 2 very friendly whales although we were briefed that this may not happen as it’s really up to the whales.
It is quite a swim to get to the whales so make sure you can swim well and know how to navigate your snorkeling equipment in the open water.
I tried to take video which I gave up on quickly as just being in the water with these majestic creatures made it such a powerful experience.
We then got to snorkel with stingrays and black tip sharks in the lagoon. A nice follow up to an already gorgeous morning.

Fantastic experience. Both Tami (boat captain) and Francesca (whale guide) were a lot of fun and great professionals. It allows for a heart racing swim with the whales in open seas and an easy going swim with reef sharks and rays in shallow water. Highly recommended!

The crew was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the area, super friendly, and fluent in several languages. Ocean was very choppy from the high winds so we headed to the west side of the island where the water was much calmer. It seems there are many different tour companies taking customers out to swim with the whales and they’re all in connect with one another so that everyone has a better chance of swimming with the whales. We did find two whales and did get to swim with them. My mask malfunctioned and I had to stop the whole group and go back to the boat. I felt horrible about it because the whales were so close. We found them again and got to swim a bit more with them. After the whales we went inside the reef to swim with the sting rays and sharks which was awesome! Upon departing from there we were served fresh local fruit and juice for a snack. Then we headed back. About a 3 hour trip. Totally worth it! Pro tip though: before you do this, splurge a little bit a buy a really good snorkel and mask and bring it with you. Will make all the difference in the world. Would totally do it again!
