    Absolutely amazing experience! Saw tons of sharks, some barracuda, and even a school of tuna! All three tour guides (boat captain and two divers) were super chill, friendly, and informative. All three ensured every participant knew what to expect, as well as how to properly use the snorkel and fins. They also offered flotation devices for those of us who don’t swim that well lol. Lastly, they took free pics/vids … how awesome is that!? Shoutout to Sam for his pure kindness. A lady was sick, scared, or maybe both and Sam stayed with her the entire time … holding her hand and just reassuring her 🥹. All the while he still was pointing out wildlife to the rest of us! Def recommend and will book them again!! #bab 🤙🏽

    This was the best experience of my life! I love and respect these amazing creatures and the Island View Hawai’i crew was amazing! 10/10 recommend! I felt at peace in the water and I enjoyed every moment!

    By far this was the coolest thing we had ever done! Everyone should try this at least once in their life, and I can't believe I lived my whole life in the islands without knowing this was a thing. The sharks were so curious and peaceful! Absolutely itching to go again. If you are seasick, don't be like me and forget to take any anti-nausea meds before the trip! Ha'a, Ramsey and Braxton were professional and super kind, and the pictures came out phenomenal. Thank you all so much!

    totally unique experience - the crew are so calm and professional - you feel totally comfortable in the water with the sharks. highly recommend!!

    We booked a cageless shark dive on August 22nd at 8:00 a.m. the crew showed up with their boat early.... they were very professional, extremely knowledgeable about the boat the equipment and the species of sharks that we were looking at. The only problem that we encountered were tiger sharks were in the area and they were scaring the Galapagos sharks away.. however our crew was relentless and kept working at it until we were able to find not only Galapagos sharks but we spotted a tiger.... This experience is a must-do for any one that is walking around on this planet.. I would recommend this to anyone that's even remotely interested in it.. Chris/Juliet

    What to expect

    Our cage-free experience allows you to SAFELY swim with sharks in their natural environment. You will walk away with a new perspective and appreciation for these beautiful creatures. Photos and Videos are included for free! We're a family owned and operated company rooted in Haleiwa, Hawai'i on the North Shore of O'ahu. On your trip, we'll be headed three miles off the coast of Hale'iwa to a location that's been in our family for generations, which is about 300 feet deep. A safety diver will escort you into the water where you will be able to safely watch as well as swim with the sharks, and other pelagic creatures. While swimming in the open ocean with sharks and other pelagic creatures, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the ocean and its inhabitants - disposing of the irrational fears and misconceptions of sharks and other ocean creatures. This is a "cage-free" experience where we will be free swimming with sharks for about 30 minutes. No heavy equipment is used. Just us with snorkel gear - so we keep the experience as natural as possible.
