Soon after pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town and surrounds we will take a drive through the city centre where you tour guide will point out historical monuments and museums on a city orientation tour. Our first stop will be in the Bo-Kaap, (Cape Malay Quarter), for a memorable photo with the colourful houses. Here stories about these historical homes and the heritage of the locals whose families originated from Indonesia and Malaysia.
Take a drive to one of the new seven wonders of Nature and a definite must see - our glorious Table Mountain. Upon our arrival at the Cable car station we take the cable car to the top of the mountain for a guided tour. In case of unfavourable weather conditions, we will visit Table Mountain as our final destination for the day. Please note: Table Mountain cableway is weather permitting. Note that Table Mountain cable car tickets are excluded from our tour price. We recommend clients to pre-purchase Table Mountain tickets online to skip the ticket line and proceed straight to the boarding queue for the cable car.
Camps Bay
After our memorable experience at Table Mountain, we drive along the Atlantic seaboard between mountains and oceans, passing coastal suburbs of Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camp's Bay. We stop at Maiden's Cove, one of the most scenic photo stops you will make on this tour. Marvel at the views of the Twelve Apostles and the pristine Camp's Bay Beach, where many a socialite/celebrity from around the world have stopped for a photo or cocktail or meal at the exclusive restaurants and bars.
Chapman's Peak Drive
Stop for an optional cup of coffee at The Village Roast in Noordhoek Farm Village, where many a coffee lover has never been disappointed. Coffee is at guest's own account. We stop at the Chapman's Peak viewpoint where travellers will be amazed at the spectacular view of mountain ranges and endless stretches of oceans. It is little wonder why "Chappies", as it is often referred to by the locals, is one of the most scenic tour routes in the world.
Meet the historical monument of Just Nuisance in Simon's Town. Listen to the charming story of Just Nuisance who made a name for himself in the South African Navy, based in Simon's Town. Known as one of the best beaches for sun bathing and swimming in Cape Town, Boulder's Beach is not only for sun bathers. Boulder's Beach is famous for the presence of the African Penguins colony. Visit these enchanting sea creatures and meet one or two penguins in their natural habitat and along the boardwalk.
Stop at the Cape of Good Hope, undeniably the highlight of all the destinations on your trip to Cape Town. No visit to Cape Town is complete without a photo behind the Cape of Good Hope name board. Listen to interesting stories about the history of the two Beacons of Bartolomeu Dias and Vasco Da Game.
