    If someone ever told me that I will enjoy dancing, I wouldn’t have believed him! I booked the course as a present for my wife and went with a feeling of ‘lets get it over with’. I stand humbled by the wonderful, emotional experience facilitated by Catalina. She was passionate and professional, as well as patient and perfectly adjusted to our needs and pace. She managed to transfer the magic of tango onto us in just one lesson. The Milonga we went to afterwards was very authentic and besides dancing ourselves, we could enjoy watching pure art of Tango danced by locals.

    I had such an enjoyable night, first having a lesson from Catalina, then visiting the milonga. It was a pleasure to spend time with Catalina in this environment, learning more about the art of tango. I even had the opportunity to dance, making for a complete experience. Next time I come back, I plan on taking another lesson to feel more confident in my skills on the dance floor. Thank you, Catalina!

    Catalina, our instructor, was warm and engaging and had us dancing the basic tango very quickly. At the milongo, it was as if we were there with a good friend.

    What to expect

    The activity begins with a personalized tango class, where you will learn everything you need to enjoy after the milonga. The class will be held in an old Buenos Aires convent, where you can also see how it was inhabited at the beginning of the 20th century. If you already know how to dance, we can improve your technique, and give you new tools. The class lasts 60 minutes. Then, we will all go together to a milonga (social place, where we dance every night). In the milonga they have a drink included. We will stay with you for 1 hour in the milonga, and then you can stay on your own if you wish.
