    Excellent tour! Giovanni does a great job. He is very friendly and accommodating. This is a great experience if you want to discover your ancestry from the town or to just visit a smaller town outside of Palermo!

    Giovanni, tour operator, provided a complete package for visitors seeking family history for Termini Imerese Fishermen’ Quarter residents. Giovanni was enthusiastic when communicating via text about new discoveries he uncovered while preparing for your visit. Highly recommend this tour, I scheduled with Viator in early April. Definitely exceeded my expectations including pickup & drop off at local train station. Thank you Giovanni!

    Giovanni gives an amazing tour. He is very passionate about his city and birthplace. He was extremely helpful in finding the birth certificates for my grandparents who were also born in Termini. He has continued to send me photos and other information about the city related to my ancestors. Giovanni picked us up at the train station and took us back there when we were finished as well as treated us to a local treat called a talalle. I highly recommend this tour.

    I can't recommend Giovanni enough. Like many, I have ancestral ties to Termini Imerese, but his tour would be great for anyone looking to experience something different outside of Palermo. I reached out to him a few months before visiting, and he was extremely communicative, found lots of information about my ancestors, and put together a tailored tour that was personal to me and incorporated my family's history. He also was an invaluable resource while we were there - he provided recommendations for other tours, our lodging, dining, and a wine shop in Termini, all of which were greatly appreciated and excellent recommendations. He met us at our hotel when we arrived, helped with bags, and started by giving us some great background on the area's economy and regional history. We visited several important churches, the city hall, my great-grandfather's home, a refreshing gelato stop, and several of the town's notable landmarks. He's extremely knowledgable about the town's history and passionate about sharing it with his guests. You'll leave feeling like you made a friend, and he was also a safe place to ask stupid questions that I'd been too afraid to ask elsewhere on my trip. Overall, this was an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life as it pertains to my family history, and I'm glad Giovanni was the guy to make it all happen. Truly hope I'll cross paths with Giovanni again, one of the best out there!

    We'll begin in the charming Fishermen's Quarter, with its historic churches and typical houses. Ascending to the Grand Hotel delle Terme, we'll explore the former home of the famous Targa Florio. Strolling through Via Verdura, we'll experience Termini's historic market, then navigate Corso Umberto e Margherita's bustling commercial heart. Our climb to upper Termini takes us through the Rocchicelle district, past ancient stones and charming old houses. We'll visit the ancient Church of San Giacomo and the medieval Church of the Annunziata. At Cinema Eden, an early 20th-century Art Nouveau building, we'll reach Piazza Duomo to visit the Duomo and the Cammara Picta. After viewing the historic Circolo Margherita and relaxing in Villa Palmeri's lush gardens, we'll enjoy a Sicilian gelato at "Cicciuzzu." Descending Via Roma, we'll admire views of the Jesuit College and Monte San Calogero. Throughout, I'll share captivating stories and old photographs, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
