    Daniel gave a very well informed overview of the history of whisky making. A distillery tour tells you their story. Daniel tells you the whole story. He has a masters degree in Scottish history, he’s a comic with a major league funny bone and he serves up some tasty and thoughtfully selected whiskies. What’s not to enjoy?     Had such a great time! Daniel is very knowledgeable about whisky and its history. He's also incredibly funny! What made it even better was his dog - the Bonnie Prince - who walked around the room getting a cuddle for every single one of us! Good whisky, good laughs and just a great afternoon! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants a truly Scottish experience

    Had to come to this after the awesome walking tour. Over the course of 2 hours we were given such an interesting and in depth history of whiskey, the way its made, and its cultural significance to Scotland. Even if you're not a whiskey fan like me it was still so interesting to learn and laugh with Daniel about the spirits. The environment was cozy, the company was friendly, and we had a great time.

    Really interesting look into the history of Scotish whiskey, as well as how it is made today. Very knowledgeable, excellent introduction into whiskey tasting if you have not done it before. Very funny, a bit more of an intimate setting, so we had really good/ funny conversations. I really enjoyed the 4 tastings, and the stories behind them.

    I would highly recommend the Mountebanktours Comedy Whisky Tasting. As a non whisky drinker, married to a connoisseur (or so he thinks!!) this was a great afternoon for both of us! Daniel was, informative, interesting and above all hilarious!! Fantastic value for money for the whisky drinker ( 4 large drams included ) and as a non whisky drinker my ticket was much reduced in price and I could take my gin upstairs to listen, learn and laugh!! The Bonny Prince was in attendance too.....well it wouldn't be A Mountebank afternoon without him! 🐾🐾
