    We really enjoyed the tour! Fiona is a wonderful guide and together with "Lucky" the driver and daughter Amber, took very good care of us indeed. All the venues were interesting, picturesque and some featured impressive ruins, in particular Urquhart Castle. Culloden Battlefield is more historic rather than scenic but Fiona's descriptions and background information added much to the visit. Her singing and shots of whisky seemed very appropriate for the location as well. The only location we may wished for a bit more time was Cawdor castle. Since it was also where we stopped for lunch, we had to combine eating with sightseeing. Highly recommended!

    The tour was amazing and I would strongly recommend. I went with a group from a cruise ship. The tour guide Fiona and the driver Lachie were both incredible.

    We greatly enjoyed our tour with Invergordon Tours. Urquhart Castle was very interesting, and the setting was beautiful (however, I would recommend skipping the video in the visitor's center as it took too much time away from viewing the castle itself). The tour on Loch Ness was quite nice, and we enjoyed the visit to Cawdor Castle, but the highlight of the trip for us was the visit to the Culloden Battlefield. Our tour guide painted such an incredible image of what took place there, it added greatly to our appreciation of the hardships faced by the Scottish warriors. The whisky tasting didn't hurt, either! It was a rainy day, but we didn't let that interfere with our enjoyment of the tour - hey, it rains in Scotland!

    **The best trip we have ever taken. We are absolutely thrilled, not least because of our excellent tour guide Fiona. Let’s start from the beginning. After we disembarked, she very kindly took us to the waiting bus, which was pleasantly air-conditioned. Then we went to Urquhart Castle. During the drive, Fiona shared many interesting facts about the landscape, history, and culture of the area, without ever being boring or long-winded. Her English was perfect for us as non-native speakers because she speaks very clearly and is easy to understand. After a short stay at the castle, we took a boat across Loch Ness. All entrance fees were included in the price, making the value for money unbeatable. At lunchtime, we were taken to Cawdor Castle, where we had an hour of free time. Fiona had already asked what we wanted for lunch beforehand, so there was no waiting time. After thoroughly exploring the gardens and rooms of the castle, the unfortunately last point of the trip was ahead. The Culloden Battlefields were thoroughly explained, and their importance to Scottish history was emphasized. To conclude the trip, Fiona sang Gaelic songs with us and organized a small quiz. We are more than satisfied with this trip because we had the perfect mix of sightseeing, travel time, and free time. A big shout-out to the perfect tour guide, Fiona, who made our day an unforgettable highlight of our trip.*

    This tour was brilliant and the guide was excellent, friendly and full of information , Pick up at the dock was easy and coach comfortable We had booked this trip a couple of years ago and our ship didn’t dock due to bad weather. We were sent a refund and a lovely message from Gavin even before the captain announced we wouldn’t be stopping at invergordon so we knew how trustworthy and reliable they were. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend highly to anyone wanting a great day out. Also much better value than any of the ships tours

    The drive to Loch Ness is very picturesque taking you through rolling hills and farmland. Along the way you will have an opportunity to hear about the history of the area and find out a little more about your guide and their experiences of living in the Scottish Highlands.

    Arrive at the 14th-century Urquhart Castle ruins, magnificently situated right on the edge of the loch it is one of the most photographed scenes in Scotland. Enjoy a video presentation and an optional audio tour plus your guide will be there to answer any questions. You'll have time to explore the ruins and enjoy the magnificent views over the loch.

    Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises - Dochgarroch Lock

    You will board the Jacobite rebel from Dochgarroch Locks for a 60-minute cruise on the world famous loch to Urquhart Castle. This is truly the best way to experience Loch Ness and the Great Glen. You will learn all about Nessie the Loch Ness Monster and hear about the history and geology of the fresh water lake. Loch Ness is surrounded by beautiful scenery and mountains so sit back, enjoy the views and have your camera out just in case Nessie pops up to say hello. There's also a fully stocked bar and coffee service on board.
