Access Group (February 13 & 14): often called the “second division” of Carnival, featuring traditional schools that bring incredible energy as they compete for a spot in the Special Group. -
Carnival schedules have not yet been officially announced; traditionally, the Access Group parades begin at 9 p.m., and the Special Group and Champions Parade parades begin at 10 p.m.

Champions’ Parade (February 21): the top 6 schools from the Special Group return for a victory show, without the pressure of competition – pure celebration and joy.

Personalized bags can be picked up in person at the main entrance of the Sugarloaf Cable Car Park (Av. Pasteur, 520 – Urca, Rio de Janeiro – RJ). Pickup is available from February 11 to 17 and on February 20 and 21, from 10 AM to 7 PM. Look for the C2Rio team on site.
