    We had a great time making shoes! Communication with Haruka was great from the very beginning. She met us at the station and took us to her atelier where we were able to choose they style of shoe, leather, and other design features. And then we set to work cutting out the pieces and sewing the shoes together. Her instructions were easy to follow. We each left with a fun pair of shoes that we will cherish forever.

    What a fun experience! I am so excited to have my own handmade, custom shoes! I definitely recommend this if you’re curious. There were tons of leather colors to choose from and the instructor was wonderful! You don’t need any skills to be successful with this—she’ll guide and help you. I really want to do this again next time I’m in Tokyo!

    Was most amazing experience. The process ensured I was not overwhelmed by choices. I could select materials and colours easily. Instructions were very clear and teacher was very patient. Loved the outcome

    Was a fun and easy to follow experience. Loved the various options of shoes style, wide range of materials and colors to choose from. Combination and design options are endless and had a blast mixing and matching colors to adding my personal style. The instructor also collects Kimono materials so it’s perfect for making a unique souvenir to take home or as a gift. They also carry shoes sizes bigger than many Japanese retailers, so also appreciated the inclusiveness.

    First shoe-making experience in my life! Even I, am all thumbs, was able to make beautiful shoes like the ones in the pics. The bilingual instructor is very attentive and her beautiful atelier is stocked with one-of-a-kind, high quality materials. Highly recommended.

    Design and Create a Shoes that is completely unique to you in 1 Day! Also I’m welcome to take ready made orders. Process would be same through step 4 and I would deliver to you during your stay in Tokyo. It would be great if you could give me message after booking to let you know my availability and to arrange the start time. The link and contacts will be provided on the ticket voucher. 1. Select Pattern Derby Macalon Plain Open Lofer Sneaker (Hi-cut, Lowcut) ※Shoes Kilties are optional (+￥3,850) 2. Select Sole There are 3 types of soles. Flat/White size 33-45 Platform/White to size 35-40 Platform/ Black to size 35-40 3. Fitting and select Size Size 33 to 45 are available. 4. Choose materials You can choose from Japanese-made leather, Italian leather, furs, PVC’s, tweed, ribbon lace, and antique kimono fabrics. Also you could draw your own patterns by using paints. 5. Assemble and finish Assemble with ropes or needle and thread. Depending on pattern and Design you choose, it would take 3 to 8 hours to finish.
