    What an unforgettable experience in the heart of Ginza! Not only did we enjoy delicious Japanese food, but we also had the chance to actually step into the world of sumo and even try carrying a traditional mikoshi. The staff were incredibly welcoming and explained everything clearly in English, which made the experience even more fun and easy to join. Being able to experience sumo up close and participate in a mikoshi festival ritual is something you simply cannot do anywhere else. It felt authentic, interactive, and full of energy. If you’re visiting Tokyo and want a truly unique cultural experience, this is a must-do! Perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone curious about Japanese traditions.

    Ginza offers a fantastic sumo experience! You can even try carrying a rare omikoshi . It's a great choice if you want to enjoy sumo in Japan. Plus, it's easily accessible from Ginza Station.

    Seeing Sumo match was one of the few things on my "Must Do" list. But the tournaments are rare, sell out fast and the other option of catching a practice match at a local stable wasn't available at any of the cities we visited. So we were thrilled to discover this option. It was only their 2nd day in operation, so maybe still figuring things out? They gave us our meal as the Wrestlers were coming out, so it was super awkward to eat while they were presenting info to us. They have a few interactive options - one can put on an inflatable Sumo suit and "wrestle' with the athletes, get in the ring and throw salt and later help carry a shrine. I went specifically to see the matches. They only had three short matches, and the bummer was, when the wrestlers were down in their stance, and about to clash, we could hear all sorts of noise and laughter coming form the kitchen area, which we found distracting and disrespectful. It was pricey for our budget but being the only option we found, we were happy to be there, the food was good and the staff was super nice.

    As the original plan was cancelled, I decided to watch sumo. So I found this newly opened place. To my great surprise, the performances of the sumo wrestlers were very interesting. There were both serious matches and relaxed moments, as well as parts where the audience could participate. This will become a very memorable experience for me.

    Had fun and worth time and money. We also had experienced an actual sumo match against a real sumo wrestler.The MC was really fun and answering all the questions that we wanted to know. The food also was fantastic.
