I had to give 3 stars due to a really rude employee at the snack bar 11:00 am 8/27. The signs and menu boasted fancy teas, but this guy was rude when I asked for herbal tea. Kinda spoiled the experience for me.

Went at Sunset, night. The views are all that and more. You won't be disappointed. What they say about this place is true - being out in the open is better, especially from the upper level. Only downer is that it's packed and it's tough to get up close and find your spot. Getting down to the street takes longer than going up. Go early and check out the Rockerfelker Center too.

An amazing experience inside and out! Views are better than the Empire State, shops are fantastic, the introductory cinema is brilliant, never too busy and was an incredible brilliant time.

This was not our first time, so, as a recovering acrophobiac, I knew what to expect. We were with friends who are not so conflicted, and they were anxious to have the experience. And I must admit, it is quite a view, and there are ways to deal with one's acrophobia - first, as long as there is something below you that you can focus on, everything is fine. So, if you are on the second/upper level, looking directly down, you are looking at the first/lower level, and you are completely confident that the absolutely worst you can do is to "float" down one story. And you can then look out at the real panoramic view with no problem. Anyway, works for me, and we all had a great time!
