Performing Umrah • Niyyah: Make your intention for Umrah and recite Labbaik Allahumma Umrah. • Tawaf (7 Circuits): Start at the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad), walk counter-clockwise around the Kaaba. • Pray 2 Rak’ahs: Behind Maqam Ibrahim if possible. • Sa’i (Safa to Marwah, 7 trips): Begin at Safa hill and end at Marwah. • Halq/Taqsir: Men shave (halq) or shorten (taqsir) their hair; women cut a small portion from their hair.
