What to expect

Always wanted to try urban sketching, but didn't know where to start? Here's your chance! Spend an hour and a half developing a new skill and being creative in one America's oldest and most beautiful towns. There's lots to do in Naptown - but why not choose an activity that will teach you a new skill and gain you a one-of-a-kind souvenir? Join me, Em Campbell, local artist and teacher, on an art adventure in the heart of historic Old Town, Annapolis. What to expect: This is an outdoor activity. We will spend the first ten minutes getting acquainted with each other and our supplies. (I will bring everything you need) Find a comfy spot or borrow one of my camp chairs, and follow along as I show you how to sketch what you see in paint. You will use real watercolors, a mess-free waterbrush, and premium watercolor paper. Start from scratch or use a pre-sketched drawing to dive right into painting. If you get stuck or need help, never fear, I'll be there to guide you to creative success. This activity is best suited for those 12 years and older.
