    This was the highlight of our visit to Spain. Carlos Lobos was our tour guide as we explored the art and architecture of these hallowed grounds. Our senses were further delighted as we tasted through some of the crafted wines of this estate. I urge any wine or art connoisseur to visit this destination without hesitation.

    Otazu is an stunning place! Truly a must if you are visiting Pamplona! Andrea was our tour guide of the day, she was kind since the first moment, very clever with facts and always filled the gaps with funny jokes! We struggled in the beginning of the tour due to the delayed of a group! So maybe a different organization could help to avoid this situation! Beautiful stories about Bodega Otazo. The amount of art is very inspiring + wine (a very good one) makes the whole experience unforgettable. Thank you so much for the warm welcoming. We will come back for more!

    Other people of the tour were very late, so we had to wait to start ours. it felt like we lost some of the information each time one late group arrived, becase the guide was trying to catch them up. The rest of the tour was very pleasant, the art collection was incredible and unexpected. I think they need more staff, at least one more person at the store, so the guide just guide.

    A somewhat tedious visit, with lots of data that have nothing to do with either the winery, the current owners, or the wine, long wait for a tasting of 3 mediocre wines, entered in a commercial with the just and sole objective of selling you one or more wines of its "range top" , of which for the very high price, they get many more benefits.     The visit is very complete, the setting is beautiful the facilities are themselves a museum and is also full of works of art. Carlos made us the tour, brilliant, captures the attention of the public and knows how to explain each step giving value to both the facilities and the art and of course the wines !!!

    A tour of the winery of almost three hours that begins with a walk through the historic Señorío de Otazu built in the Middle Ages. Along this section of the route you will be able to admire the 12th century Romanesque church, the 14th century dovecote tower and the 16th century palace.

    Bodega Otazu

    Afterwards, we visit the old 19th century winery building, converted into a wine museum and the contemporary art spaces of the Otazu Foundation, awarded the "A" Prize for Collecting 2020, granted by the ARCO Foundation. Likewise, the new facilities of the winery are shown, where the impressive barrel room known as "the Cathedral of Wine", the production room and the wine cemetery stand out. This visit ends with a tasting of 3 wines, each paired with an elaborate and specially selected pintxo.
