    The experience was amazing! Since I went alone, I got a private tour and I learn a lot from my tour guide. I wish you have the option to pay for only one, the minimum is 3 and I ended up paying for 3 people. Still worth it, but wish I could have saved money.

    If you want to experience vulcano boarding in a small group and in a less tourist way I would definatelly go with this company. We started at 7:00 and have whole vulcano for ourselves.. Such a amazing experience..Excellent tour guide.. great hospitality. Guys go with Fun N Sun!!!

    Great organisation and communication! We were picked up at our hostel early in the morning at 7am. Guillermo, our guide, gave a lot of explanation during the drive to Cerro Negro. The hike all the way up was really beautiful and not too hard! We received a lot of information during the hike which was very enriching! Boarding down the volcano was a lot of fun! We went quite fast! All instruction have been shared so we were well prepared before taking off ☺️. Many thanks for this great experience!’ Great guide, great opportunity!

    This was an amazing tour, My kids enjoyed it. The walk was doable, My mother of 64 and son of 7 did it! You can too! Our guide Memo was excellent, made us feel safe, very professional, local guide with knowledge, education, and passion for what he does. The boarding part was so fast that it makes you want to do it again. I recomend you doing this in the morning to avoid crowd and the heat of the sun. Nature is unpredictable, some of usdidn't surf down as fast fast as we expected, the board got stuck multiple times. It was still exiting, beautiful views and great service from Fun and Sun travels. We booked a second volcano the same day, we went to Telica. Booked the camping option to see the sunset and sunrise. Unfortunately mother nature had other plans and it was very cloudy, foggy, we couldn't see neither. Even with all that guide, Luis made sure we were ok. We went back to the crater at night and we're able to hear the volcano and see the lava even with all the fog. The whole experience was great and our kids enjoyed the whole thing. Luis was great as well. Very good with kids. Our driver Cristobal was very accommodating and both of them made us feel safe and make sure we made the most of it. Dinner was brought to us my a local family, then we walked down to their house where they were serving a delicious breakfast. Everything was taken care of my Fun and Sun travels. We didn't have to worry about anything! We will come back! Memo makes sure he works with great people, thank you!

    The adventure begins with a 50 minutes transfer on sandy roads across rural communities and crop fields all the way to the base of the volcano at 300 meters above sea level. After that, we will hike up one hour to the top 726 meters following a fairly easy trail across the rocky part. Here, every client needs to carry up their board and safety gears or let local porters to do that for a little cost so you can enjoy the hike even more. Finally with your gears on you'll board down the volcano getting back to the bottom in within 5 minutes. After a cold drink we will jump back on our private transport and head back to Leon city.
