    Absolutely awesome! The experience was nothing short of magical, especially the breathtaking "milky way of glow worms." It was like stepping into another world, surrounded by these tiny, twinkling lights that felt almost surreal. What made the experience even more special was being in a very small group, which allowed for a more intimate and personal adventure. It felt exclusive and peaceful, with no crowds to disrupt the tranquility of the environment. The true highlight, however, was our guide. Their passion for the natural wonders we were exploring was evident in every word they spoke. They were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly attentive to everyone’s needs, making sure we all had the best experience possible. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. It’s an absolute must-do!

    This was a fabulous experience from start to finish. The spellbound caves are truly mesmerizing - allowing you to witness thousands of glow worms so up close you can almost touch them. This was quite a unique tour of witness two different caves & a surreal 20 min boat ride which was the highlight of the experience. Our lovely guide at the caves really looked after everyone and the coffee & cookie stop halfway through the tour was a lovely touch. We also had a fab guide Jose who was entertaining and insightful enroute to the caves. Overall and excellent day trip - this is certainly a must do when in Auckland.

    Bring a good camera and enjoy the experience. Oh and bring a jacket too, as it can be quite cold inside the cave.

    What an incredible experience! Huzefa is punctual and knowledgeable. He kept us entertained with his knowledge of the region. If you are looking for a tour, highly recommend Expedigo, and ask for Huzefa!

      You do need to be able to walk for at least 40 minutes at a time over gentle terrain and pathways. We do not climb or crawl anywhere in our caves. There are no stairs in our caves. For those with mobility concerns, you will need to step up 40cm into and out of a transit van and down 40cm into and out of our raft. We do not take wheelchairs or walking frames. If you are concerned or unsure if your fitness is adequate, please contact us.
