    Absolutely worth every dollar. The whales came to play and Steve, the skipper, maneuvered the boat so everyone could experience their show. Whalesong crew were attentive, helpful and professional. Super day out.

    Had an awesome time. We had friends up from Victoria, so decided to do a last minute whale watching tour. Booking online was super easy and so was check in. The tour itself was spectacular. The whales really put on a show and we were lucky enough for 2 whales to mug the boat. They stayed around for approximately half an hour swimming back and forth under the boat and popping up right next to us. We even got spayed at on stage from their blow holes. Our friends have left with a lasting impression of the Fraser coast and many a story to tell. The crew were great also.

    An absolutely magical experience! We saw lots of whales throughout the morning, some more interactive than others. Having done a whale watching trip last year in Canada, where we only saw one whale for a split second, we were keeping an open mind as we know wild animals are unpredictable. However, this was a different experience entirely - we came across a few pods that weren’t particularly active but we still got a good view of them splashing around. Then we were lucky enough to find a pod that were incredibly active and who swam around and underneath our boat for a long time (well over an hour) blowing, rolling, waving their pectoral fins and bobbing their heads out of the water to get a good look at us. It was very special to see them so close and for them to choose to spend so much time with us. The staff on the boat were fabulous, the captain gave us lots of interesting information about whales and is obviously very good at whale spotting. The crew were super friendly and enthusiastic. We enjoyed a delicious morning tea and lunch and felt very well looked after all day. Would highly, highly recommend this trip.

    The team of people were friendly, helpful and welcoming. They guaranteed we'd see whales and that happened, in spades. The whales seem to be more fascinated with us than we are with them. If possible. Up close and personal, is how I'd describe our experience with the whales. Truly amazing and rewarding, and I will be going again. They also have great souvenir caps!
