    Rolando is a wonderful guide. He has easy access to great beaches for viewing macaws, monkeys and sloths. He served us fresh fruit and refreshing coconut milk. Afterward we went snorkeling for an hour and saw plenty of fish. Rolando supplied the snorkel masks and a life vest for safety. Safety was important to him, but as soon as he saw that my wife and I were experienced swimmers/snorkelers he could relax and we swam without using the life jackets. A wonderful day at the beach to be sure.

    This was the perfect snorkeling trip. We didn’t want a 5 hour long tour with tons of extra activities. We really just wanted to see a little of the beaches and snorkel. On the walk along the beach we got to see 3 sloths (including a mama and baby!!) and lots of monkeys. We also saw a couple scarlet macaws. During the snorkeling we saw many fish, including a huge rooster fish. The highlight was getting to swim along with a green sea turtle. We were able to swim just above and behind him for about 5 minutes while he swam along the reef and munched on little bites of sea grass. It was a once in a lifetime experience and we will be telling this story over and over. Rolando was a fantastic guide. He picked us up right at our condo in his clean and well maintained car. He brought fresh fruit and water for us. We have our own snorkeling gear but Rolando does supply it if needed. As well as a life jacket. Rolando is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. He offers many other tours and excursions. He has lived in Jaco his whole life and knows the area and many other places very well. He seems to have a great network of friends and other professionals so he is a great resource for tourists. We have a condo in Jaco so I know we will be in touch with Rolando every time we visit. At home we’d say “we got a guy” whenever something comes up where you need professional help. To us, Rolando will be our “guy” for Jaco! Thank you Rolando!

    Rolando is very knowledgeable and super friendly. He went out his way to book additional excursions for us. He went above and beyond. Snorkelling was really good lots of different species to see. Rolando taught us on the different species. Got to hand feed the monkeys and was a nice experience.

    Rolando was the best tour guide who exceeded all expectations. He went above and beyond to make our activities enjoyable. Our girls trip would have not been as memorable without his guidance, recommendations and expertise on these excursions. 10/10 would recommend Rolando over any other guide.
