    What a fabulous experience Winemaker for the day was. We arrived excited and a little nervous too, but Declan put those nerves at ease immediately with his friendly and welcoming nature. We had a lot of fun whilst learning an incredible amount in the hour and a half about some history of wines and the making of blends all culminating in creating a wine to our own taste. Such a beautifully located family winery. We even stayed and did some tasting. Can’t wait to open our own labelled bottles to see what sort of winemakers we are. Can highly recommend the whole experience. We will definitely be going back with friends. Thanks Declan and Danielle.

    We received a fun but informative talk by Declan on wine making and how to judge wines while experimenting with mixing three varieties to make our own favourite blend. Then we got to bottle and label it and take it home. Tasted some of the estates different wines as well. Relaxed setting and tailored to us.

    We spent a really enjoyable and informative morning with Declan and Danielle at McCaffrey's Estate learning to blend red wine. We came away with a new appreciation of wine and it's many attributes. If you get a chance don't miss out on this class, you'll love it. Declan and Danielle are genuine and so very welcoming.

    Great to actually learn about different types of wine grapes and starting our journey to understanding why and what we like in terms of wines. Also great fun to create our own blend and bring it home to try with family!
