Początkowo mieliśmy iść tylko 1 raz a poszliśmy 3 razy. Świetna atmosfera, profesjonalny sprzęt i bardzo udane połowy. Złowiliśmy wielką płaszczkę, 2 x baracuda, rekin nam się zerwał i mnóstwo mniejszych ryb. Bardzo polecam i napewno będziecie zadowoleni.
initially we supposed to go once and we did it 3 times. Great atmosphere, professional equipment and very good fishing results: stingray, 2xbarcuda, we almost got a shark on the board - the line broke and a lot of smaller fishes as well.
I recommend Gavin very much and I am sure you will be happy after trip.

Would highly recommend booking with Gavin ,what was almost impossible fishing conditions his experience helped my son catch his first fish, a smooth hound shark. Gavin was very friendly an patient knowing my son was determined to catch something. Thank you

We booked the ‘world class fishing trip’ as a way for my 12 year old fishing mad son to experience fishing in Tenerife. Of course, we are aware that fishing is one of those things - you need a bit of luck and patience on your side. However there are things that can make the experience more enjoyable (and a catch more likely).
First up - as some other reviews have stated - there was no mention of life jackets or their location. It was fairly choppy out there.
The boat itself is in need of some TLC (which apparently it will be getting). There were 6 of us on the boat (7 including Gavin) and there wasn’t much space. The rods themselves looked pretty old, and the bait ‘tank’ was a bucket of raw prawns and fish slowly warming in the sun on the back of the boat. The “fighting chair” was not like others I have seen - more like a stool - it had no back. There were (I think) 6 rods set up on the back of the boat, but how 6 people could stand and fish there I have no idea - I think there were 4 set up. The front wasn’t used.
None of us used the toilet - the room itself was crammed full of stuff (not sure what).
There were some beers (not that cold) and water, and he did offer some chopped fruit when we got on board. Not sure about soft drinks as didn’t ask.
Gavin had plenty of stories to tell but the main issue for me was how much time he spent on his phone - time that I felt should have been used looking at the sonar working out where to go. Also, this is a 2 man job - Gavin was driving and doing all the set up etc, meaning that everything took much longer than previous trips we have been on. I’d strongly suggest finding a trip with at least a 2 man crew.
We did have a few small catches early on but then we dropped the anchor when Gavin was 95% sure we would get a ray or hammerheads (not sure we wanted either of those tbh but we weren’t asked about this!). Then we just sat there for quite a while. Eventually another member of the party suggested moving to go somewhere to do some bottom fishing which was at least a bit more interactive. Gavin obviously wasn’t happy about this and took us to an area heaving with jet skis. When I asked if there were any fish there on the sonar he said “not a thing”. He then moved again but still to a busy area. Again, a lot of time spent looking down at his phone rather than the sonar or in front of him while driving the boat.
All in all I wish I’d paid more attention to the other negative reviews here, as it’s not a cheap day out. Had I felt like 100% effort had been made and we hadn’t caught anything, fair enough. But that wasn’t the case.

Very good fishing trip, went searching for rays and wasn’t disappointed. Prefer bottom fishing over trawling and there didn’t seem to be any evidence of tuna about so made the right decision and got good results.

You’ll be fishing on a 25’ offshore sportfishing boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This is one of the fastest boats in its class, reaching a speed of 22 knots per hour. The vessel is by no means a luxury yacht, it is modest and functional, this is about getting down to it and for that Gavin has all kinds of equipment for the most effective and fun fishing trip, such as a fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, a live bait tank, and a wireless trolling engine.
