What to expect

Experience the life of a WWII Aviation Cadet in this day long immersion experience. Your day begins with check in and flight gear issue(loaned). You will have both ground and flight instruction as your instructor guides you through your first day as a WWII Aviation cadet. This is an "immersion" experience designed to be realistic in how the cadets were treated upon arriving for the first day of training. You decide how realistic you'd like your experience to be in terms of how your Captain will relate to you. The experience includes a total of 2 flight hours in the PT-19 broken up into 3 training flights, about 3.5 hours total of classroom/ground instruction; instructor time and training videos, lunch served in a "mess kit". The day ends with graduation-earning your wings (WWII Replica Pilot Wings; WASP version for the ladies), followed by a debrief in the officers club with drinks and snack. Includes your choice of a BCW Baseball Cap or T-shirt to keep. 235lbs max Minimum age 18 to sit in the front of the aircraft. Min age 14 to participate, but you will sit in the back of the aircraft for the flying portion. Requires a min outside air temp of 40 degrees Fahrenheit to take place.

Additionally, please note that the experience requires a minimum outside air temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit to take place. All necessary flight gear will be provided, and you can even choose to keep a BCW Baseball Cap or T-shirt as a memento of your unforgettable day.
