The tour operator left 6 of us stranded after their coach was not allowed through security to pick us up at our hotel lobby (which is where they instructed us to be!). The bus left after 5 minutes even though we said we would grab a taxi to the main gate. We were then given the next pick up location which we managed to get to in time at a cost of $55. No refund of extra taxi costs was offered, even though we were waiting were they instructed us to be! Our hotel advised us that all external tour operators know they are not allowed past the security gate so they should not have instructed us to wait there for the pick up. They expected us to cancel the trip and miss it completely. This was in no way our fault and no compensation was offered for the extra stress they caused. The tour wasn't that great. Lots of driving on a coach from Playa Del Carmen. Holbox itself wasn't as beautiful as expected. The beach was small and crowded and the streets dirty. The restaurant we had lunch in was also dingy. I would not recommend this tour operator based on our individual experience. Viator didn't help with our case either. Very disappointed.

Whew!!!! This was one of the most amazing full-day tours I’ve ever done ! The company does well to accommodate both English and Spanish speakers. The activities were amazing! In a nutshell they take you to three different spots to take pictures and enjoy the waters. One spot was a fresh water spring they call The Eye Cenote. The second spot is an island they called Passion Island. The third spot is the actual island of Holbox where we were given at least four hours to frolic in the waters and for those who chose drive around the island in a golf cart or bicycle. Amazing experience!
