Very busy boat. We were the last bus to arrive so no change of getting onto the top deck. People everywhere and not a very chilled experience. We saw dolphins but everyone rushed to them so at times it was hard to see them properly. Most of the crew were friendly. Drinks were great as you could serve yourself. The meal was okay - not the best and difficult to eat as it was impossible to get back to your seat due to the enormous queue that formed. Also to note lunch isn’t until 4pm so make sure you have a snack before boarding. If less people were on board and lunch was better it would have made the trip so much better

The staff was kind, basically that’s the only positive I can remember. Considering the price of the trip (almost 60 euros/person), I expected a way better experience. It was very commercial, I didn’t feel they were doing their best to give an unforgettable experience to the people who might never come back. The food was 0/5, cooked canned meatballs with rice and salad, nothing authentic. The boat was very fully-booked, we didn’t really see much of the ocean itself as the trip was mostly around the shore. All in all I wouldn’t really recommend it, the management really need to work on it.

This was very enjoyable, we saw whales, Dolphins and loads of fish from the glass bottom boat. We didn't have the food as the trip was just after lunch, we weren't hungry, but we did have a few banana's and the drinks were also included, fizzy pop, bear and Sangria. The youngster thoroughly enjoyed the chance to win in the ocean, it wasn't for us as we are in our 70's

The trip was excellent the dolphins were on form. Unfortunately an arrogant rude French man went to look out the window above us and threw his beer all over us. Might have forgiven him if he had apologised. Crew seemed "out of their depth" when dealing with the situatio.

Loved seeing the pilot whales up close. My 14 year old and 5 year old were so excited seeing them. We seen a lot of them, entire family with lots of babies. Unlimited soft drinks, water, sangria and beer for the entire trip, very good. We had seats on the top deck but came downstairs as the lower deck actually got you a closer view. Everyone scrambled to the top deck which got over crowded but the boat slowly turns so you always get a view. Wish I'd gone down the the glass bottom from the start to see them under water. Stopped for what was supposed to be 40 minutes for a swim and food. Queue for food took so long that by the time we had it the boat was leaving so couldn't swim. We were gutted as little girl was so excited to swim in the sea. They provide life jackets for those who need them inc kids. My advice is swim first then get food so you don't miss out There's a big waterfall feature on the back of the boat while you swim too, looked so fun. The meal was meatballs, veggie rice, dry coleslaw, and a bread roll. There was nowhere for my 5 year old to set and eat as our seats had been taken upstairs when we left and ppl downstairs used thd seats for their bags. I sat on the end of a row of seats and ate as quick as I could before anyone came to claim their seat back. Unfortunately not quick enough. A rude old couple came over demanding we sit in our original seats. I said I just need a seat for my 5 year old as we don't have a seat, we were left standing. We scooted right down to the end, they had plenty room for them and their bags as like I say they all gave their bags a seat rather than allowing ppl standing to sit and eat. They all could fit at least 1 or 2 people between them but refused to move their bags off the seats and even made another child and their mother move and stand. This was disgusting. Royal delphin should ensure guests do not give seats to their bags so that everyone gets a seat and young children can eat. Unlike the poof other family, I was not going to make my 5 year old try and hold a heavy plate and stand and eat as like I say there was more than enough room for all of us. We squashed down as far as we could. The couple sat down then used their bags to wedge in-between my 5 year old and them then started pushing my 5 year old with the bag. Even on the other side of them you could fit 3 people so could've easily sat comfortably with us and the other family but they felt the need to deny a young child a place to eat. They are lucky my husband wasn't there, they were so awful to the children. From this moment on I did not feel comfortable on the boat and felt like I'd let my daughter down as by the time we managed to eat our food we missed the swim. I think royal delphin should make it an hour stop so people don't have to choose between a swim and food and give people a chance to do both and find a suitable seat. It might be an idea to have a place reserved for kids to eat so they always have a place to sit. As an adult I can stand and I don't mind but not a child, there were toddlers, babies, young children and children a little older on board. On the way back we went below deck to the viewing windows/glass bottom. We seen a few fish but not many. We did see a flying fish from the lower deck which was great as we'd never seen them before, they ate such a bright blue colour. It appeared and disappeared so fast we unfortunately didn't get a photo. About 20 minutes til sunset we went back to the top deck. Managed to find a seat fine as people we mobalising round different parts of the boat. We videos the sunset which was great. Crew member then came round and gave adults a free shot of honey rum. The boat also goes around Los gigantes and other points of interest. My little girl loved finding the giant in the cliff. A crew member gave excellent commentary throughout the trip in 4 languages, Spanish, English, French then Dutch or German. I'd definitely do the trip again but I'd get seats on the lower deck just so I knew my kids can eat without being bullied of old people who think baggage should have a seat more than a child and clearly think the 2 metre covid distance is still a thing! You'd see the whales close up from that deck too. I'd also go to the glass bottom when the boat stops around the whales. There's a port above water and the window below so you'll see everything. As I said before, I'd also swim first then eat. There's nowhere to change so where swimwear under your clothes. You can ask for a life jacket if needed and they have them for the kids so you can all enjoy a dip. I'd then go up top deck for sunset or just view out the windows or platform on the lower deck. Top deck isn't the best viewpoint so I don't know why everyone hoes nuts at the start of the trip. Later in the trip the crowd disperses mote evenly around the boat. If Royal Delphin read this, I hope they can make some changes to ensure children can have a place to sit and eat indoors and stop guests using seats for baggage as so many more people could've sat and ate was it not for those selfish people taking up 2 to 3 times the room they actually needed on the liwer deck. And also giving people enough time to queue, find a seat, eat and swim. I would've gave this trip 5* but due to not having enough time to swim I'm giving it 4*. If I factor in the experience with the rude people refusing to let children sit I'd rate it a 3* but this wasn't really Royal delphins fault but provisions could be made to ensure this doesn't happen to future guests.

Please dont be put off by the negative reviews on her, this is a great trip that didn't disappoint. We got picked up at Leonardos bar in las americas and the transfer only took 10 mins. Got straight to the front to get a good seat just by chance nothing else but to be honest all the seats are good and when anything appears everyone gets up to go to the edges anyway to see so seating position doesnt really matter. We set off and after 1hr 45mins pulled intonthis bay at the bottom of some really high cliffs which was so picturesque. Here you can go swimming off the back of the boat or just stay onboard and drink the free beer/sangria (help yourself from jugs). Food was served which was really nice and im a bit picky, it was meatballs like the tinned ones in gravy with veg rice and a nice pickled salad and bun, top notch and filling. You can also buy other food from the bar like hot dogs and pizza. After about 45 minutes we set off again and saw tons of dolphins and whales. Then headed back to the harbour with a free shot of rum. Some tips: There’s nowhere to change to go swimming other than the 2 toilets on board so go ready There is a glass bottom bit that I didn’t see until leaving the boat so don’t miss out on that Don’t sit in front of any annoying Germans who talked really loud for the full trip right behind me and now haunt all my video footage with their hideous voices…. All in all a great trip, the boat wasn’t full probably due to it being term time and a Monday which is the usual turnaround day for people flying in and out so generally less people booking Got picked up at 1:15 pm and was back at hotel for 7pm

It was not at all as we expected. And from 4.5 hours, the dolphin/whale spotting accounted for the 0.5! We set off almost an hour late - no one’s fault, there had been an accident and one bus delivery of tourists was held up. But we were left uncertain as to what this meant to the duration of the trip. We had 20 - 30 minutes watching dolphins come and go, then off for lunch. Probably what you’d expect when around 200 people need to be fed within 30 minutes. The upper deck comprises bus style seating, and it’s challenging getting to see anything. The lower deck offers better views of the sea, but is just noise. Lots of noise! After lunch we went “to the cliffs”. And, basically, killed time until it was all over. This wasn’t fun, informative, or relaxing. A smaller boat with more emphasis on marine viewing would have better met our expectations-and offered a more rewarding experience.

Very well organised although could do better with the itinerary beforehand especially with children aboard. Overall- great experience

We did the Christmas day 4 hour trip and it was amazing. We didn't expect to see any whales or dolphins but we did. I filmed a mother with her baby. It made my Christmas. To be honest i didn't expect much for the lunch either and that really surprised me. How the crew managed to serve all the people with a delicious Christmas dinner i dont know. I wiped my plate clean. It was better than our hotel food delicious. The crew made sure the drinks were flowing too they didn't stop. Very well managed and worth every penny. Thank you.

Hellish. Transfers from the hotel took almost two hours because the company picked up from all over los christianos, las americas, Costa Adeje and golf del sur. We were the last coach to arrive on an already packed boat where selfish €^@£s were taking up full rows/boothes of seats that could have accommodated ten people- I guess their bags were really tired and needed a sit down. Not a word said to them by the crew. It was stifling and stagnant aboard and only when the boat was moving full pelt was there a reprieve from the heat, but in its wake it brought sea sickness for many. We were told this was a 2/3 hour cruise by the rep who sold it to us then to our exasperation did we find when leaving port that it was 4.5! Then with another hellish transfer back we missed our dinner reservations and have been charged a missed booking fee per person. Don’t be fooled- it’s November things are not as busy but this excursion from collection at 12:20 to drop off at night was an 8 hour round trip. I do NOT recommend it for families with young children especially if you need a buggy or have anyone with mobility issues. The whole experience was hot, uncomfortable, stressful, overcrowded. It completely overshadowed any wildlife spotted. The only thing I can commend you on is the toilets were clean and spillages were immediately cleaned.
