3 of us went for the trip. We were 15 pax & all of us were not satisfied with Alpine Resort tour as there was no snow & even artificial snow was not good enough. Tour operators should not promote this destination if there is no snowfall. They should bring the closing season forward to end July.
Seavenson falls were wonderful but best was the Yarra Chocolate factory.

Joe, our tour guide was a very friendly, fun, careful, polite and considerate driver. The tour bus was in a very good condition. The trip was well organised and timed. Definitely recommend this tour for those who want to experience an interesting and relaxing trip, especially for first timers to the snow. Well done, Joe and much appreciated!

We just love it ! The driver is Funny and kind we hê telled where and location is at and give us plenty of time but one thing that wasn’t good is loads of people vomited inside including me the bus was shaking and looping 🔁 it was great except the bus experience

My son and I had a lot of fun in the snow! James, our tour operator, was fantastic. He gave us some interesting information about the places we visited, made us laugh, and surprised us with his singing skills! I recommend this trip to anyone interested in taking it!

What to expect
After early morning pickup at your centrally located Melbourne hotel, board your comfortable minivan for the 90min journey to Lake Mountain.
Cross over the scenic Black Spur mountain pass to arrive at Lake Mountain by midmorning. Your guide orients you to the Lake Mountain resort, which includes more than 23 miles (37 km) of cross-country ski trails, several toboggan slopes and snow play areas. At the resort’s shop, you can rent or purchase gear such as toboggans, cross-country ski equipment, snowsuits and boots.
Enjoy 3 hours of free time to frolic in the snow. During your visit, choose from optional activities (own expense) such as visiting the toboggan park, ziplining and cross-country ski lessons, or just simply enjoy a good old-fashioned snowball fight. Even if it’s a light snow day, snow-making machines keep the ground full.
When it's time for lunch, purchase a meal at the resort’s cafe. In the early afternoon, depart for Steavenson Waterfalls with your guide. An easy round-trip walk to a viewing platform offers great photo ops of Steavenson’s five cascades, which drop a total of 400 feet (122 meters).
Once you have admired the waterfalls, your minivan takes you to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, a stylish candy-colored building where expert chocolatiers handcraft more than 150 varieties of chocolate. Stop to sample some of their delicious chocolates as you enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding gardens, sculptures and orchards.
Sweet tooth satisfied, return to Melbourne by early evening; your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
