  • My Travel Highlight

One of my most cherished travel memories is hiking through the Alishan tea region in Taiwan with my family. We stayed in a small family-run tea house, learned about the tea-making process from start to finish, and woke up to the misty mountains every morning. The combination of breathtaking scenery, the aroma of tea, and the warmth of the local people made it an unforgettable experience.

  • Favourite Destination

Taiwan will always hold a special place in my heart. Returning to my birth country and sharing its rich culture, history, and natural beauty with my wife and daughter has been incredibly rewarding. From the bustling night markets of Taipei to the serene temples of Tainan, every corner of Taiwan offers a unique and enriching experience.

  • Best Hotel

During our trip to Kyoto, Japan, we stayed at the Tawaraya Ryokan, and it was an experience unlike any other. The impeccable service, the serene atmosphere, and the exquisite attention to detail made us feel like royalty. The traditional Japanese breakfast served in our room each morning was a highlight, and the onsen was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

  • My Adventurous Destination

Exploring the backroads of Iceland in a campervan was definitely an adventure. The unpredictable weather, combined with the stark, otherworldly landscapes, made it feel like we were on another planet. We hiked glaciers, chased waterfalls, and soaked in geothermal hot springs under the Northern Lights. It was both exhilarating and humbling to witness the raw power of nature.

  • My Food Destination

Bangkok, Thailand, is an absolute paradise for food lovers. The street food scene is unparalleled, with an explosion of flavors and aromas at every corner. From Pad Thai to mango sticky rice, every dish is a culinary adventure. I especially enjoyed taking a Thai cooking class and learning the secrets behind some of my favorite dishes.
