    The day started off by meeting at the pier for 7:50am. Transit was not easy and costed over $50.00 The ferry brought us to Capri. We loaded onto a different vessel that drove around the coast. }That experience was great. I recommend that. I would like to mention we paid for the blue grotto and was not able to go in because there was a long line up, nor did we get any money back. (A family of 5 adds up when you add the blue grotto option.) Then we were left on Capri at 11am, for over six hours with no guide (our itinerary said four hours) and it was an awful experience. 5:30 could not have come fast enough to load the ferry back to Sorrento. Would not recommend the option to exploring the island.

    We had the best time at Capri! Our host Martina was fantastic, warm and welcoming and we were very impressed with her language skills and pronunciation of Spanish, Italian, English and French. The boat transfers were brilliant giving a good view of Capri, the mainland and of course the ocean! The tour itself was exciting and interactive, Martina made sure to include passengers of all nationalities. The boat crew/drivers were very friendly and helpful and all staff involved gave us great direction on how to get the most out of the island including dos and don’ts. On the isle of Capri we were able to buy a bus ticket which gave us access to the main attractions on the island which operated a hop on hop off style all under the single ticket price of €20! Bargain! We would 100% do this again! Make sure to wear a hat and comfy shoes. The boat trips exceeded expectations! A trip to never forget!

    We went for day trip from Sorrento to Capri. Our guide Benedetta was really helpful and provided us all the relevant information. We had a great experience during the trip because of her guidance. We would highly recommend this tour for ppl planning to take a day trip to Capri from Sorrento.

    What to expect

    Sorrento

    The tour begins with the pick-up from the meeting-point at the scheduled time and transfer to the port. Once on board, you sail along the Sorrento Coast and you will admire the Gulf of Naples and the majestic Vesuvius.

    White Grotta

    From the port of Marina Grande you will start the tour around the island by boat. You will enter the Marvellous Grotto, the White

    Grotta Verde

    and the Green Grotto.

    Villa Malaparte

    the Villa of Curzio Malaparte,

    Punta Carena Lighthouse

    the Lighthouse of Punta Carena, the second most important and powerful lighthouse in Italy.

    I Faraglioni

    You will admire the Faraglioni, passing through the famous Arch of Love. During the tour around the island you will learn more about the beauties of Capri, thanks to the assistance provided on board. If you select the tour option with swimming stop, you will have the chance to jump in the crystal clear water.

    You will have from 4 to 5 hours of free time to explore the island by land.

    Porto Turistico di Capri

    The departure from Capri will be in the late afternoon.

    Il Porto Marina di Cassano

    Once arrived at the port, there will be the transfer back to the starting point. *The stop to the Blue Grotto is not included in the itinerary of this tour due to the long waiting time. All the guests interested to visit the Blue Grotto can do it during the free time on the island.
