Walking
From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, head east on Via Plinio towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the train station, Stazione di Pompei. Once you arrive at the station, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. The train ride to Sorrento takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at the Sorrento train station, follow the signs towards the town center, which is just a short 10-minute walk downhill. Enjoy the picturesque views as you walk towards Piazza Tasso, the main square in Sorrento.
Bus
From the Pompeii Archaeological Park, walk to the nearby bus stop located on Via Roma. Look for the EAV (Ente Autonomo Volturno) buses that head towards Sorrento. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next available departure. Upon arrival in Sorrento, disembark at the main bus terminal, which is close to the center. From there, you can easily walk to the main attractions.
