One of the highlights of our visit to New Orleans was our driving tour with Cassandra. She was fun to be with, and so well-informed and passionate about New Orleans. She tailored our itinerary to match our interests, which made for a very satisfying experience. Her tour greatly enhanced our stay and appreciation for the city. We strongly recommend Cassandra and Soul of NOLA. Thank you again, Cassandra!

Cassandra was an extraordinary guide. Her depth of love and knowledge about the magical city of New Orleans was a gift she shared from start to finish. She took time to learn about our interests and tailored the tour to these. We can not recommend her highly enough and look forward to returning and touring with Cassandra again!

Cassandra was an excellent guide! Fun, knowledgable and full of insight into the city’s culture, history and music - and food. We all learned so much and really enjoyed her company too. Our New Orleans visit was enriched by our time with such a clever lady. Highly recommended!

The tour with Cassandra was simply outstanding - from the detailed knowledge of the city and area, care and attention to ensuring that the tour met our needs as well as being flexible at the 11th hour due to the weather, my 86yr old mother and I could not have been any more satisfied. Cassandra was really responsive and attentive at all times, including at the booking stage, which I appreciated immensely especially with the mobility challenges for my mum. With her connections and insights, we were able to experience aspects that we certainly would not have done so had we been just on our own. I would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Such as excellent tour!! Cassandra was very knowledgeable about NOLA and clearly has a passion for the city. Her approach of giving you the historical origins of the different cultures that make up the city helped tie the past into the present. She even helped with dining recommendations for our stay. We would highly recommend!

Cassandra is charming, knowledgeable, and above all dedicated to the spirit of NOLA--the kind of devoted resident native of New Orleans who defines the town as much as its landmarks. I'm pretty sure she knows every nook and cranny of the Crescent City and its surrounds. As a writer for 45 years for Rolling Stone and Esquire, I've been to NOLA (and elsewhere in LA) many many times for work. However, this was my wife's first time in the Big Eazy. One thing a journalist knows is you're only as good as your sources. Cassandra did not disappoint with her deep stores of knowledge, study, and experience. She's got a great minivan and a super personality, too. Look no further for a first-rate private tour.

My brother surprised me with this tour. I've traveled extensively and have never had a more enlightening experience. Cassandra has a wealth of local knowledge. I highly recommend asking about the backstory to Mardi Gras and about the local music culture. She knows it ALL!!! In terms of sites to see, there is less in NOLA than in other tourist destinations but if asked to highlight the most interesting places when accompanied by her expert approach one can customize a really great experience. forget Katrina and most of the French quarter. ask for mansions, where the best meals are, and where to find the best music.
