    Absolutely loved it!! Family if 4 - 2 boys, myself & DH - great morning activity. Linda was really friendly and helpful with instructions. I had always wanted to try SUP & finally got to, in warm water :). Good time had by all!! Thank you Linda!

    We booked our SUP hire through our hostel (Budds Inn) which got us a $5 discount. We booked a two hour hire which gave us enough time to paddle to the furthest point and have a rest on the beach. The water was calm and there were plenty of points along to river to aim for, including bridges and beaches. We were tired by the end of our two hours. The lady was very friendly and gave us a quick tutorial on how to use the paddle boards and a safety briefing. We really enjoyed our SUP hire!

    I went this Sunday and hired a sup for the first time. Linda couldn't have been more helpful or professional. She even was able to coax my little dog (who's afraid to swim) on to the board. I highly recommend this company for a great day out! 5 stars!

    Great morning on the water in a lovely location. The lady who dealt with us was really nice and very helpful. We paid $35 dollars each for 2 hours paddle board hire. The company offers group discount. We loved it and wish we went more!!

    Go Vertical SUP Hire

    Beautiful hidden gem here called Budds Beach, where you will launch the boards from. Tranquil calm waters of the river provide hours of paddle fun, great for kids! Budds Beach boasts a boutique cafe and gift shop, whilst the park provides plenty of shade and grassed area with sandy shoreline, picnic tables, BBQs, and full amenities.

    We hired a SUP for an hour at Budds Beach and did our own thing .They also have 2 hour tours.This is a great spot for beginners as the water is relatively calm and safe. The boards vary in size and design and are suited to the experience of the person using them. Lots of fun.

    This has to be one of the most amazing and best value “things to do” on the Gold Coast Linda provides a great introduction and friendly persona which made the experience 10 times better. All the girls I was with commented how great she was. She took a photo of all of us at the end and uploaded it to the facebook page and was really good fun throughout. This is value for money in every way. Suitable for all levels of fitness, and for all ages, Linda makes it easy to get up, get going and to explore the local beach and surrounds.

    I have been a regular hirer of boards from Lind and the crew at Go Vertical and n other occasions I have taken my own board on various early morning paddle groups. For me the paddle groups are the way to go and planned around the tides so that even the novice beginner is able to participate and feel the joy of accomplishing a mid length paddle. These paddle groups usually leave in the 6-7 am bracket and the ones I have been on headed round either Chevron Island or the Isle of Capri. Sometimes there is time for a coffee and often the chance to spot Dolphins. To not have a paddle if you are a keen Supper is a bit of a wasted trip to this beautiful part of Australia and the crew are ultra patient and generous.

    What a great place to hire a SUP and go for a paddle - people were very friendly - the river was beautiful and you can stop for a coffee and breakfast at Budd's Beach after!!
