This was a great way to get to know more about the food production in Bologna. Mattia was so knowledgable, & obviously passionate about sharing this with others. It was never obvious that he does this tour every day, twice a day. We ate some of the delicious traditional bolognese foods and sampled some local wines. The tour also includes a visit to watch pasta being made, which was mesmerising, along with some balsamic vinegar tasting. This tour is very good value for the money & I would recommend it to anyone that wants to learn more about the amazing food this city can offer, other than the taste. The tour does involve quite a lot of walking so be aware of that, and don’t eat before you join!!

Claire was an excellent guide, providing very interesting history of both the city and food we saw. The group tried a variety of delicious, traditional Bolognese foods from around the city. I would highly recommend the tour to get a feel for the city, learn some history, and try some food in a friendly atmosphere.
