    This old Sanita district north of the historic Naples district, Cavour or Materdei metro stations is picturesque, popular birthplace of Toto, poor district not very popular, not a good reputation, but pleasant during the day on foot, we discovered the 2 palaces with falcon wing staircase palazzo San Félicite and Palazzo d'elle Espagneo. What to do to get out of Naples plagued by overtourism.

    Il Quartiere Sanità si trova nel Vallone omonimo.... Qui anticamente si trovavano le cave di tufo.. Infatti rimangono molte di esse.. Alcune adibite a parcheggi altre un po' da recuperare... Era una zona extramoenia... Fuori dalle mura e adibita alla sepoltura sin Dall epoca greca... Sono infatti presenti e visitabili alcuni mausolei di epoca ellenistica e diverse catacombe come quelle di San Gennaro, San Gaudioso e San Severo.... Inoltre qui si trova uno dei cimiteri più scenografici e grandiosi di tutta l Europa.. Il Cimitero delle Fontanelle..... Che raccoglie migliaia di resti mortali sia della peste del seicento.. . sia le ossa translate qui con la soppressione dei monasteri in epoca napoleonica. Il quartiere merita una visita guidata e non... con sosta e pranzo in una trattoria o pizzeria tipica. Buon arricchimento culturale con una delle tante associazioni che si dedicano alla rinascita del posto.
