Getting There

• Walking

  From the Marina Grande in Capri, start by walking to the main square, Piazza Umberto I. Once there, look for the signs directing you to the Funicolare. Take the Funicolare up to the top station, which is near the Via Roma. After you exit the Funicolare, turn right onto Via Roma, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Vittorio Emanuele. Here, take a left onto Via Vittorio Emanuele and continue straight. You will pass by various shops and cafes. After walking for about 10-15 minutes, you will reach the end of the road. From there, you will need to find the local bus station where you can catch a bus to Naples. Make sure to purchase your ticket before boarding.

• Boat

  From the Capri Marina, take a ferry to Naples. The ticket office is located near the marina. Once you purchase your ticket, board the ferry heading to Naples. The ferry ride takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Molo Beverello port in Naples, exit the ferry terminal and head towards the metro station. Look for the signs for the Metro Line 1. You will take the metro towards Garibaldi station. Get off at Garibaldi and then transfer to the Line 2 train towards Pozzuoli. After a few stops, get off at the stop for Piazza Garibaldi, and from there, it’s a short walk to Via Vergini.

• Taxi

  If you prefer not to walk or take public transportation, you can take a taxi from any location in Capri to the Marina Grande. Once at the Marina, arrange for a taxi boat to take you directly to Naples. Upon arrival at the Naples port, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Via Vergini. Make sure to provide the driver with the full address to ensure they know exactly where to take you.
