Great tour guide Philippe. Palace is fantastic just as the gardens are beautiful. Took the golf cart around the gardens which takes about an hour. The gardens are vast. Great tour highly recommended

It’s a beautiful place, but was overcrowded, we felt like sardines . Outdoors was not nearly as crowded.

This was a great way to visit Versailles. Definitely was nice to have hotel pickup, priority access and a fun tour guide.

We enjoyed this tour. Was the perfect amount of time of guided tour (about 2.5 hours) and then time to explore the gardens on our own before heading back.

Seeing the grandeur of the place and grounds. Worth the trip! Our driver was professional but friendly. Our guide was lovely and answered all our many questions. The only negative was all of the many, many school groups who were quite rowdy. . Not Viator’s fault.

The opulence of this palace helps to explain the French Revolution. It is stunning. I think that the gardens are even better. Our guide was very good and helped to explain what we saw. The group was small which really helped. Go as early as possible since it gets very crowded.

Guide was very nice talking in English and explaining in French to one of the group member. However I give a rating of 3 because: 1. The time in the Gardens from 12 to 2 is very bad timing because of the sun. 2. The driver dropped us at the metro station because we got stuck in a traffic for 2 hours. 3. In our group another couple took the full day tour and we got confused with their garden visit planning and ours 4. In one hour, don't ever take the train to do the gardens. Thanks

It was great being picked and dropped directly at my hotel. The ride to and from the hotel to Versailles was good. :) We had to wait in a queue over 3/4 of an hour to enter Versailles, along with a mass of other people even though we had ‘ skip the queue’ tickets :( Spending the whole day in beautiful weather walking the gardens of Versailles and Petite Trianon was wonderful. For me the gardens were easily the best experience of the day.

Good and informative tour. Patrick our guide was great. The skip the line was great as the lines to get in are super long and with skip the like you get in very quick. We did the full day with pick up and it was worth it!

The tour operators kept in touch to give us updates on pick up times. I give them an A plus on responsiveness. Gamini was an excellent driver and got us to Versailles on time. Phillipe was just the best tour guide. His knowledge of the palace was amazing and he interjected memorable historical anecdotes and pointed out interesting facts as we walked through the palace and gardens. Even though it rained the whole day, this was just the most excellent way to spend an afternoon on our first visit to Paris. Recommend wholeheartedly!!!
