If you are driving to the Palace of Versailles, start from central Paris. Get on the A13 motorway from Boulevard Périphérique. Continue on A13 for about 20 kilometers, then take exit 3 towards Versailles. Follow the signs for Versailles Centre and then for the Palace. There is parking available near the Palace at several car parks. The address is Place d'Armes, 78000 Versailles.

Train
To reach the Palace of Versailles by train, head to the Gare Saint-Lazare station in Paris. Take the train towards Versailles-Rive-Droite (line L). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Versailles-Rive-Droite station, exit the station and walk for about 15 minutes towards the Palace. Follow the signs to the Palace of Versailles, which will lead you along the main roads.

If you prefer using the RER, you can go to the RER C line from any major station in Paris. Take the train towards Versailles Château Rive Gauche. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. When you arrive at Versailles Château Rive Gauche, exit the station and walk about 10 minutes to the Palace. Follow the signs for the Palace of Versailles, and you will reach the entrance at Place d'Armes.

You can also take the bus to the Palace of Versailles. From Paris, take the bus line 171 from the Pont de Sèvres metro station (line 9) towards Versailles Rive Gauche. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the final stop, which is near the Palace. Follow the pedestrian signs pointing towards Place d'Armes.
