We had an excellent experience with our guide Joanna at the Louvre for the private kid friendly tour. Not only were we able to access a side entrance avoiding the general lines, but the tour took us directly to highlights of the museum before the museum was too crowded. Our guide did an excellent job of pointing out interesting information appropriate for our boys (10 and 12) so that they actually learned notable information about specific works of art. I highly recommend this tour for families taking children as it really made the experience meaningful instead of just another march through an old building with paintings.

Amazing experience, I was initially nervous about our visit to the Louvre with 3 kids, but the visit visit guided by Agathe exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much for making our girls enjoy a 3 hours tour, through fun facts and games to keep them interested! I highly recommend families to enjoy the Paris tours with kids!

This tour was unbelievably good! We had Stephanie, a long time Louvre employee who worked in the museum for 22 years, and had also attended school inside the Louvre. She knew details and gossipy historical back stories about all of the art we saw and asked about, was able to navigate the crowds, and speed us through to our preferred locations. We had no wait to get in with her! She offered suggestions for the kids, and was very attentive to their level of interest and attention span. If I could give her 100 stars out of 5 I would. I never expected it to be so amazing. I cried the whole way through the Louvre as it is an enormously overwhelming experience.

Wonderful tour with Joanna for our family with children!! We were so pleased with our tour of the Louvre with Joanna. From start to finish, the process was organized and seamless. The communication and responsiveness from the agency and Joanna was excellent. The crowds and lines at the Louvre can be overwhelming, but Joanna was able to quickly get us through a “secret entrance” and navigated us through the museum incredibly well. She was able to keep all of us engaged (including our very tired 8 and 9 year old boys) for the duration of the tour and we all learned so much! The tour was the perfect length of time and we covered much more of the museum than I could have anticipated. Joanna’s depth of knowledge was excellent as was the way she educated us about the various works and the museum. Would HIGHLY recommend Joanna and Raphael Tours and Events based on our great experience.

What an amazing tour of the Louvre. We saw all that we could within our 3 hour tour and were free to roam the museum after the tour. Our guide Dominique is an art history expert and she was just superb.

Our tour guide Dominique was absolutely amazing! My husband hates museums and he was engaged and asking questions the entire time. Our son who is very into Greek/Roman and Egyptian mythology was happily answering questions posed by Dominique about things we saw. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend. Highly recommend this tour with families.

We had the most wonderful tour of the Louvre with our guide! She was clearly a passionate art history expert. She got us into a quick side-entrance to the museum, and gave us wonderful historical context and stories about the art in a kid-friendly way. She played scavenger hunt games with our kids, entertained the whole family and helped us to learn so much in a short time frame. We loved this tour!

I booked a 3-hour Louvre tour for my family of four. Kids are ages 7 and 8. Our guide Dominique was so great and engaging! She related all the artwork through stories that were fun and engaging not only for the kids but for us adults also. She was also attentive to the fact that the kids could use a rest so she would find spaces to sit while explaining the art to them. My kids in particular liked seeing Cupid represented throughout the museum and Dominique would very kindly point him out in passing which was a fun way to continue engaging them. I would definitely recommend this tour and would book through them again.

I highly recommend this tour! Just entering through the side gate away from the massive crowds would have made the cost worthwhile -- the tour itself was also stellar. Engaging for parents and kiddos alike, fast-paced (read: we were amazed at how quickly 2 hours went by!), and rewarding.
