What a great tour experience! We began in the Versailles gardens. My wife and I have been to Versailles before, but our friends had not. Our guide, Tina, did a great job showing us many secluded and very interesting sections of the gardens which we had not seen before; our first time was in a larger tour group. She was a true professional, knowing when the varied fountains of these secluded garden areas would begin to flow. Incredible themed and constructed garden areas planned and constructed by King Louis XIV. Tina also had great historical accounts which we learned for the first time in the Palace itself. This is a grand tour, not to be missed!

Our tour guide Mila was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour! We were a family of 6 adults with one having mobility issues. She took wonderful care of us asking how we were doing and making sure we were all together. I learned so much, I could have listened to Mila for hours! This was one of my favorite tours of our two week European vacation. This private tour is definitely a Must do and worth every penny!

The private van could not get to us because of the Paris marathon, so our guide took us on an adventure trying to find a way across the marathon and through a couple of streets to the van. We've had private guides and tours before. This one was friendly, but a bit shy. She knew a great deal of information and was willing and eager to share any time we had questions. We did not get much time on the grounds - the marathon had us getting there a bit late and I believe the driver may have had some where to go because the guide explained that he was waiting and he drove back rather aggressively home to Paris. However, because of the long wait for lunch at one of the few restaurants at the property, we did not get to see much of the grounds - this was not the guide's fault, but a bit disappointing to wait 45+ minutes just to get food. Lines were long everywhere on the property. Overall, I think the guide was informative, helpful, and patient. The driver was hurried. Versailles was so crowded that it was a bit uncomfortable in some of the rooms that we passed by. Side notes: because this is an international tourist spot, please brace yourself for different cultures and norms. A french gentleman grabbed my husband's shoulder to move him out of the way when we were waiting in line. We were both retired military and prone to react but did not out of shock alone. We are relatively tall people 6+, so this has not happened to us on other trips or at home, however, sometimes the french have customs and courtesies that are different than our own. Our guide Barbara was excellent! She went out of her way to make our four kids and us feel comfortable, especially with some of the colder weather we experienced during our trip in December. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Getting a private van to take our family to and from Versailles was also a huge plus!

Exactly what I wanted! A private van picked us up and dropped us off directly in front of the Palace. Mila, our guide with Paris In Person, was the perfect tour guide. She listened and answered our questions. She was also very attentive to our needs, My mother needed to rest and have a coke. So she went and found a chair and bought her one.. She kept the information at a level we enjoyed. Mila was very personable and easy to follow. You could tell that she really enjoyed her job. We also were able to enjoy a delicious lunch together after. Then we were taken back to our hotel. The only way to enjoy the Palace of Versailles. Highly Recommend booking with this company. Great communication with Boris, the owner. We were to start at 8:00 am, and I called to ask if we could change to 9:00, Boris quickly was able to adjust and confirm. I booked 4 tours with him during our stay and was extremely satisfied.

Boris was delightful and very knowledgeable during our private tour of Versailles. He was very accommodating with our plans. We really enjoyed his outlook on Parisienne life and he is such a historian to boot. We are happy recommending him and look forward to booking his services next time we are in Paris.

Boris took our family on two different private excursions. After the first trip to Versailles, my family could not wait for our second trip to Vaux le Vicomte. The the second was not a typical tour, but the customer service, information, and experience cannot be exceeded or matched. Well done!!! To our guide and now our friend!!! Thank you!!!

Boris was our tour guide for a trip to France in December, 2019. We visited The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and spent a day seeing WWII sites in Normandy. Boris made all the arrangements ahead of time, and was an incredible guide throughout our stay in France. My mom, aunt, and I recently did a virtual tour of Versailles with Boris; and while not as good as being there in person, it was a great way to see this beautiful palace. Boris' knowledge of history, culture, and architecture are absolutely incredible. We learned so much! Boris made the whole thing easy, fun and informative. It was great catching up with all that is going on in Paris. If you've got "travel fever" like we do, I would highly recommend booking a virtual tour with Boris at Paris in Person to tide you over until we can visit Europe again safely. Thank you, Boris!

My brother found Boris on trip advisor only a couple day’s before our excursions. While a couple of us on the trip had been to the Louvre before, we decided to try a private excursion to a) skip the line and b) get more insight from someone who knew more than us. Boris was awesome. We did in fact skip the line and he was very knowledgeable about many of the pieces, time periods, types of art, etc. It was a great trip and highly recommended. We enjoyed Boris so much that we had him give us a tour of Versailles the next day. Versailles is a very expansive place and a lot to take in and Boris was an excellent guide. I would suggest a guide for Versailles. This was my first trip to Versailles and I couldn’t recommend it more. Fascinating history and beautiful place. Gardens were nice to wander through as well. Give Boris a go for any number of his tours - you won’t regret it.

Had a week in Paris, knew in advance that Versailles was a must see for us. Didn't want to risk missing out/wasting the day waiting in lines so booked in advance. Was definitely worth it. We went in March and it was unseasonably cold/windy. Loved not having to stand outside in the freezing rain for the 45 minutes it was taking others without the advance bookings to get in. Once inside, our guide "Bo" was great in both knowledge and in adjusting the timing based on interests. We went with our two 9 year old girls, and their attention spans have a tendency to wax and wane, but they loved the entire day. Would certainly recommend this as the best way to visit.
