Today was a day of breathtaking vistas and delightful discoveries in Serra da Estrela. I set out to explore the glacial landscapes and immerse myself in the local culture, and the day certainly delivered. From stunning viewpoints to cozy restaurants and bars, every moment was a treat.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at Restaurante O Olival in Manteigas. The restaurant offered a unique gastronomic experience, and I savored every bite. The warm and welcoming service made me feel right at home, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. I enjoyed some local pastries and strong coffee, fueling up for a day of exploration. It reminded me of the little cafes back in Spanish Town, where the day always started with a strong brew and friendly faces.
