I was eager to see what the mountain had in store for me.

My day started, as it often does, with a hearty breakfast at Casa do Clube in Manteigas. The aroma of freshly baked bread and strong coffee filled the cozy space. I opted for a simple yet satisfying meal of toast with local cheese and a strong black coffee. It was the perfect fuel for a day of exploration. The owner was incredibly friendly, sharing stories about the region and offering tips for my hike.
