First on our itinerary was the grand 'Le portail de Moulay Ismaïl' (باب مولاي إسماعيل). Although technically in Meknes, its proximity made it an unmissable landmark. As we approached, the sheer scale and intricate design of the gateway left us in awe. The vibrant mosaics and detailed carvings told stories of a bygone era, of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl’s vision and power. It felt like stepping back in time, imagining the bustling life that once flowed through this very portal. I couldn't help but feel a connection to the past, a sense of continuity that transcends centuries.

Before heading back to our accommodation, we enjoyed a final cup of mint tea, savoring the sweet and refreshing flavors. The gentle breeze carried the scent of spices and the distant sounds of music, creating a magical atmosphere. It was a perfect ending to a day filled with wonder and discovery. I am already looking forward to tomorrow’s adventures, eager to uncover more of the hidden treasures of this enchanting region.
