As my solo journey through the heart of Brazil's Chapada Diamantina National Park draws to a close, I find myself filled with a bittersweet mix of emotions. My final day in Chapada Diamantina began as all the others had – with the sounds of nature serenading me awake. I enjoyed a simple breakfast amidst the park's tranquil ambiance, savoring the last moments of solitude before venturing out for a day of exploration. The plan was to visit two more waterfalls, Cachoeira Ferro Doido and Cachoeira da Lage, and to pick up some local cheese at Lá de Minas before my final dinner here.

Cachoeira Ferro Doido, which translates to 'Crazy Iron Waterfall,' was first on the agenda. The name itself sparked my curiosity, and the reality exceeded all expectations.
