I'm excited to visit Tilcara, Argentina, a charming town in the heart of the Quebrada de Humahuaca valley. The area is known for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant indigenous markets. During our 17-day stay, my wife and I plan to explore the ancient ruins of Pucará de Tilcara, hike through the dramatic mountain scenery, and immerse ourselves in the local culture. We haven't booked a hotel yet, as we plan to stay in local guesthouses to get an authentic experience and support the community. Traveling with my wife, Lena, makes this journey even more special as we both share a passion for exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations.
