Hiking through the Cinque Terre in Italy with my husband, Jean-Pierre. The views were breathtaking, and we enjoyed delicious pesto pasta at a small family-owned restaurant overlooking the sea.

Favourite Destination
Japan. The culture is so different from anything I've experienced, and I loved the blend of ancient traditions and modern life. The people were incredibly kind and respectful, and I left feeling inspired and refreshed.

Best Hotel
Villa Florentine in Lyon. It's a beautifully renovated former convent with elegant rooms and panoramic views of the city. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it's located in the heart of Old Lyon.

The French Alps. Hiking the Chemin de la Mature, with its paths carved into the sheer rock face, was exhilarating!
