As our Argentine adventure draws to a close, it’s hard to believe that eleven days have flown by so quickly. Tilcara has captured our hearts with its vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and the warmth of its people. Today, our final day, was a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, a fitting end to this unforgettable journey.

Our day began with a hearty breakfast at Chicha Libre Resto Bar. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the promise of traditional Andean flavors drew us in. Olivia opted for the lentil empanadas, while I decided to try the squash soup. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it a delightful start to the day. It's a great spot, with vegetarian options and a beautiful view from the terrace. Sipping my coffee, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness knowing this was our last morning in this charming town.

I couldn't resist picking up a few souvenirs for our friends back in Toronto, small reminders of our time here. The service was impeccable, and the staff went out of their way to make our evening special. As we lingered over our meal, we reminisced about our time in Tilcara, the memories we had made, and the people we had met. It was a bittersweet moment, filled with gratitude and a touch of melancholy.

Tomorrow, we leave Tilcara, heading back to Jujuy for our flight to Buenos Aires and eventually back home to Toronto. This trip has been more than just a vacation; it has been a journey of discovery, a chance to connect with a different culture, and an opportunity to create lasting memories with my beloved Olivia.
