My first stop was the Snæfellsjökull National Park, a place where the earth seems to breathe with ancient energy. Before settling in for the night, I made a quick stop at the Snæfellsnes Visitor Center to pick up a few souvenirs and gather more information about the peninsula. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing insights into local attractions and hidden gems. I learned about the Bárður Snæfellsás Statue and the Arnarstapi Cliff Viewpoint, both of which I planned to visit tomorrow.

It's supposed to be a cozy little bar with a great atmosphere. I wonder if they have any local beers on tap. I'll make sure to try one if they do.


For now, I'm going to curl up with my travel journal and jot down some notes about today's adventures. I want to make sure I capture all the details so I can share them with you. And who knows, maybe I'll even sketch a few of the landscapes I saw today. I'm not much of an artist, but I like to try.



Oh, and before I forget, I wanted to mention that I forgot my portable phone charger and binoculars. I'm so bummed about the binoculars. I was really hoping to do some wildlife spotting while I'm here. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to rely on my own two eyes. As for the phone charger, I'll just have to be extra careful with my battery. I don't want to run out of juice in the middle of nowhere.
