More about Karen Schmidt
Karen grew up in the charming coastal town of Svendborg, Denmark, surrounded by the sea and a close-knit community. After completing her degree in Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark, she felt a pull to explore beyond her homeland. An opportunity arose when a German tech company in Heidelberg offered her a position as a software developer. Intrigued by the prospect of living in a new country and advancing her career, she made the move. In Heidelberg, she met her husband, Hans, a local architect. While her primary focus is her career, Karen has always harbored a passion for travel. She started the Evendo blog as a way to document her travel experiences and share her insights with others, viewing it as a creative outlet and a means to connect with like-minded individuals.
