The aroma of freshly brewed green tea and the sight of the meticulously arranged breakfast set got me energized for the day ahead. I savored every bite, knowing that I needed the fuel for a day of exploring Takayama's artistic and historical treasures.

I'm also planning to stop by Shirakawago Purin no Ie (Pudding House) tomorrow. I've heard their puddings are a must-try, and I can't resist the temptation of a sweet treat.

This solo journey has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to connect with the local culture on a deeper level. Even though Fatima and Omar are not here with me, I feel like they are experiencing this journey through my stories and photographs.
