From the tranquility of cascading waters to the warmth of Ladin hospitality, every moment felt like a cherished memory in the making. It's days like these that remind me why I embarked on this solo journey, to discover the hidden gems and embrace the unique experiences that this region has to offer.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at Ütia Bamby. The cozy atmosphere and the aroma of freshly baked bread and local cheeses were the perfect start to a day of exploration. I fueled up with a traditional South Tyrolean breakfast, complete with speck, local cheese, and crusty bread, all while enjoying the crisp morning air and stunning views of the Dolomites. It was a simple meal, but it filled me with a sense of warmth and anticipation for the adventures that lay ahead.

With a full stomach and a sense of excitement, I set off to Cascate del Pisciadù. The trail was a gentle ascent, winding through lush forests and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The air was crisp and clean, filled with the scent of pine and damp earth. For lunch, I made my way to Rifugio Alpino Pralongià. The Rifugio is located at 2,157 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of the Dolomites. The views from up there were simply stunning, a 360-degree panorama of jagged peaks and verdant valleys. The rifugio itself was charming and rustic, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I settled in for a hearty lunch of traditional Ladin cuisine, savoring the flavors of the mountains. The food was delicious and comforting, the perfect fuel for an afternoon of further exploration. I chatted with some of the other diners, sharing stories and experiences, and feeling a sense of camaraderie with fellow travelers.

Before dinner, I stopped by Foto Dolomit, a local shop in La Villa. As a keen photographer, I was eager to see what they had to offer. The shop was a treasure trove of souvenirs, postcards, and photography equipment. I ended up purchasing a few postcards to send to Aishath and Ibrahim back home, and a small photo album to store my memories of this trip. The owner of the shop was friendly and helpful, sharing tips on the best places to photograph in the area. It was a pleasant encounter, a reminder of the warmth and hospitality of the local people.

As evening approached, I made my way to La Tor for dinner. The restaurant is known for its Ladin and South Tyrolean specialties, prepared according to old traditions. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and rustic decor. I ordered a traditional Ladin dish, *panicia*, a barley soup with smoked pork, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and complex, a testament to the culinary heritage of the region. I also tried a glass of local red wine, which paired perfectly with the hearty soup. The service was attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. It was the perfect end to a day of exploration and discovery.

Tomorrow marks the final day of my solo adventure in Alta Badia. I plan to visit Punto panoramico Corvara for one last breathtaking view of the region and explore Grotta del Conturines, hoping to uncover more of the area's natural wonders. Breakfast will be at Hotel Planac Cafe, followed by lunch somewhere in Alta Badia and a farewell dinner at Rifugio Utia Paraciora. Before heading back, I'll stop by L'Got for a final taste of local nightlife. It's bittersweet to think that my journey is coming to an end, but I'm filled with gratitude for the experiences I've had and the memories I've made. I know that I'll carry a piece of Alta Badia with me wherever I go, and I hope to return someday soon to explore more of its hidden corners.
