Today's journey took me and my friends to Ravello, a hilltop town that promised panoramic views and a serene escape from the bustling coastal routes. The buffet was a delightful spread of fresh fruits, cheeses, and pastries, but I couldn't resist ordering an omelet from the a la carte menu. Fuelled up, we set off on our adventure, ready to embrace the beauty of Ravello.

It was easy to see why Richard Wagner found inspiration here, envisioning the gardens of Klingsor for his opera Parsifal. The restaurant is housed in a 12th-century noble palace, adorned with traditional Vetri ceramics and priceless frescoes. The ambiance was elegant and refined, setting the stage for a memorable meal. We opted for the tasting menu, a culinary journey through the flavors of the Amalfi Coast. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, and the sommelier expertly paired each course with a local wine. It was a truly unforgettable dining experience.

I've heard incredible things about the natural beauty of the fjord and the historical significance of the tower, so I'm eager to see them for myself. We'll also be trying out some new restaurants, including La Bussola sul Mare for breakfast, Hostaria Acquolina for lunch, and Lo Smeraldino for dinner. And of course, no trip to the Amalfi Coast would be complete without a visit to a local wine bar, so we'll be stopping by Wine Bar La Risacca for a taste of the region's finest wines.
