Our day began with a hearty breakfast at Mergulhão Noronha. I opted for the tapioca, a local favorite, while Lena enjoyed some fresh fruit and yogurt. Sofia, of course, went straight for the pastries. Energized and ready, we set off to explore the island, our first stop being Mirante Ponta do Capim Açu. The drive there was an adventure in itself, with the island's vibrant landscapes unfolding before us. As we ascended to the viewpoint, the anticipation grew, and the view from the top was nothing short of spectacular. I even managed to climb the large rock at the end of the beach, Pedra do Bode, for a panoramic view of the coastline. The view of Morro Dois Irmãos in the distance was particularly stunning.

Lunchtime found us at Restaurante do Vale, nestled within the Pousada do Vale. This restaurant is known for its fresh, organic ingredients, many of which come directly from their own garden. We started with the tapioca dice served with honey and chili jam. For the main course, I chose the seafood risotto, Lena opted for a fresh salad with grilled fish, and Sofia enjoyed a kid-friendly pasta dish. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was impeccable. The relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere made it all the more enjoyable. The lounge had a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. I savored a caipirinha, while Lena enjoyed a refreshing fruit smoothie, and Sofia sipped on some sparkling water. The lounge's laid-back vibe and friendly service made it a great spot to relax and recharge before our dinner reservation. The girls enjoyed the lounge as well, as the staff was very accommodating to children.

Dinner was at Restaurante Varanda Noronha, a place that had been highly recommended to us. The restaurant is known for its blend of Northeastern flavors and seafood. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a touch of rustic charm. We started with the seafood moqueca, a flavorful stew of fish, shrimp, and coconut milk. For our main courses, I chose the grilled lobster, Lena had the carne de sol (sun-dried meat) with queijo coalho (a local cheese), and Sofia opted for a simpler grilled fish dish. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the best of local ingredients and flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Restaurante Varanda Noronha truly lived up to its reputation, providing us with an unforgettable dining experience.
