Today was a day of contrasts, from reaching for the sky atop Orvieto’s famous tower to tracing the ancient paths that hug the city’s dramatic cliffs. Orvieto continues to surprise and enchant us, revealing new facets of its character with every step.

Our day began, as all good days in Italy should, with a delightful breakfast at Osteria da Mamma Angela. The aroma of strong coffee filled the air as Eleanor and I sipped our cappuccinos, Kenji happily munching on a pastry. This osteria is known for its traditional Italian cuisine and cozy atmosphere, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
